About Me/Bio
As a bilingual executive with 20+ years of experience across higher education, government, and nonprofit sectors, I specialize in leading community engagement, external affairs, and equity-focused initiatives that create meaningful and measurable impact.
I’m skilled at building cross-sector coalitions, developing strategic partnerships, and advancing inclusion through collaboration with public officials, business leaders, educators, and community organizations. My approach integrates strategy, empathy, and action—bridging institutional goals with community priorities.
In my most recent higher education leadership role, I directed community engagement and government affairs efforts, cultivating over 600 external relationships—25% of which became long-term partners. I launched initiatives that strengthened Latino/Hispanic student success, expanded outreach to Asian communities, and enhanced the institution’s statewide visibility.
I also founded and lead the Women’s Leadership Roundtable, a diverse network of women leaders across the Tri-State region, connecting across sectors to address shared challenges and drive lasting community impact.
My board and volunteer service reflect a deep commitment to public good, including leadership roles with the Alzheimer’s Association Hudson Valley Chapter (DEI and Advocacy Committees), New York Medical College’s Institutional Biosafety Committee, and the Greenburgh Public Library Board of Trustees.
Guided by integrity, inclusion, and collaboration, I am passionate about building strong partnerships that strengthen communities and advance equity-driven missions.
