About Me/Bio
My current role as the Manager of Community Relations & Affairs at Catholic Charities USA allows me to combine my passion for social justice with my skills in data interpretation, human resources, and diversity and inclusion. I lead a team of specialists who work with various stakeholders, such as donors, volunteers, media, and local governments, to raise awareness and support for the organization's mission and programs.
I have a bachelor's degree in International Public Affairs from Baruch College, where I gained a global perspective and a solid foundation in public policy, economics, and sociology. Before joining Catholic Charities USA in Sep 2023, I worked as a Community Engagement Officer at the New York State Department of Labor for three and a half years, where I helped implement and evaluate several initiatives to improve the employment outcomes and well-being of diverse and underrepresented populations. I am always eager to learn new things, collaborate with others, and challenge myself. My goal is to make a positive difference in the lives of people and communities through data-driven and human-centered solutions.
As for hobbies, I am currently training for the 2024 NYC Marathon. I also enjoy interviewing people from my network (or that I randomly find on LinkedIn) for my new YTC. I aspire to grow a very influential community interested in topics relating to self-awareness and personal healing with the hopes to heal individuals, families and in the long run communities!
